Found a Protector
Jeevrakshak Social Foundation was born from a simple yet powerful belief: that no life — animal or human — should suffer in silence while help exists. Founded in Nalasopara, Maharashtra, we started with a single rescue mission and grew into a movement that touches thousands of lives every year.
Today, we operate across Vasai-Virar and are expanding our vision to metro cities — bringing Goshala facilities, free organic milk, and quality education to communities in Kharghar and Navi Mumbai who need it most.

Milestones of Compassion
From one rescue to a city-wide movement — every year brought new missions, new lives saved, and new dreams realised.
Jeevrakshak is Born
The foundation was established in Nalasopara with the first animal rescue unit, a small volunteer team, and an unyielding mission to protect animal lives in Vasai-Virar.
Goshala Established
Our sacred Goshala opened its gates to the first batch of abandoned cows rescued from roads. Today it shelters over 120 cows with veterinary care and organic nourishment.
Women Empowerment Launches
Recognising the deep connection between human and animal welfare, we launched our first free school for girls and women’s skill development programme.
Metro Expansion Plan
With 10,000+ lives impacted, we set our sights on Kharghar and Navi Mumbai — planning Goshalas that provide free and affordable organic milk to urban communities.
Free Education for Children
Expanding our education programme to include poor children of all backgrounds — because a bright future should never be limited by a family’s income.

Goshala in the Heart of the City
Our biggest dream: bringing the sacred Goshala tradition to India’s metros — so that every family in Kharghar and Navi Mumbai has access to fresh, pure organic milk at little or no cost.
Kharghar, at the heart of New Mumbai’s planned township, is home to lakhs of middle-class and lower-income families. Our proposed Goshala here will rescue abandoned cows from Navi Mumbai roads while producing organic milk for distribution to children, hospitals, and low-income households at subsidised rates.
Navi Mumbai — one of the world’s most planned cities — still sees thousands of cows suffering on its roads and industrial belts. Our Goshala vision here creates a model urban sanctuary: compassionate, self-sustaining, and community-driven — producing affordable organic milk while protecting animal lives.
Free & Affordable Organic Milk for All
The sacred cow gives us the purest nourishment. Our metro Goshalas will not just shelter cows — they will produce fresh, certified organic A2 milk, distributed free to BPL families, schools, and children’s homes, and at subsidised rates for all others. No family should be priced out of pure, healthy milk.

Poverty should never sentence a child to ignorance. Jeevrakshak’s free education programmes give every underprivileged child the chance to learn, grow, and achieve their greatest potential.
Knowledge Is the Greatest Gift We Can Give
Thousands of children in Vasai-Virar, Kharghar, and Navi Mumbai grow up without access to quality schooling. Economic hardship forces families to choose between food and education — and education always loses. Jeevrakshak refuses to accept this.
Through free schools, scholarship programmes, and skill-based learning, we ensure that every child — regardless of religion, caste, or income — has a genuine shot at a better life. An educated child transforms not just their future, but their entire family’s destiny.

Fully free primary and secondary schools for children from below-poverty-line families, with books, uniforms, and meals provided at no cost.
Scholarship Support
Sponsoring deserving students in higher education — from colleges to vocational institutes — ensuring talent is never lost to poverty.

Computer and digital skills training so children from marginalised communities are never left behind in India’s fast-growing digital economy.

The Heart Behind The Mission
“My dream is to see a Goshala in every metro city — where sacred cows are cared for, where children of the poor drink pure organic milk for free, and where every child regardless of family income walks into a school every morning with joy. That is the Maharashtra we are building.”
With over 15 years of grassroots activism in animal welfare and social development, the founder established Jeevrakshak Social Foundation with a singular vision: to create Maharashtra’s most compassionate community protection network. Beyond animal rescue, the foundation’s boldest ambition is to establish Goshalas in Kharghar and Navi Mumbai — producing free and affordable organic milk for urban poor — while simultaneously expanding free education to every underprivileged child in the region.
